I LOVED this sand kit. Even though to some the color choice seemed limited, it offered the colors we wanted. The only downfall is that there is no cover/lid on any of the jars but, to me, the personalization and simplicity of it trumps that.

I really love this sand kit! I actually bought the colors shown and they look beautiful! I loved the ingraved names and date of our wedding. They are a little hard to read without the sand but with the sand its truly beautiful. To make the sand kit last, I bought candle wax to seal the top. I would recommend to anyone wanting to have a sand kit at there wedding!

My husband and I had an outdoor wedding. We were at an outdoor wedding 3 weeks before ours and the candle kept blowing out. So they had to pretend they were lighting it together. The sand was practical for an outdoor wedding and is a great home decoration after. I loved it and love having it as a cute reminder of our wedding day!

I loved the unity sand set! We used the colors shown since we had blue/light blue as our colors. We used the white as our spiritual foundation which our pastor poured. The third color would also be great for blending a family. My sister is getting married in June and has decided she wants the same set. Her fiance has 2 kids from a previous marriage and they want to include them in the ceremony so this is the most logical way!

You can modify the color of the sand, or start over and make your own. Chose the white sand and place it in a jar with a sealed top, sprinkle a little food coloring on top and shake. Add more coloring as needed. You can mix your own colors until you have the correct one. Remember how to mix colors from school? If not, find a DIY book on color mixing at your library.

I am looking for a unity sand set, and this looks great but the color selections for the sand are SO limited. None of these are our colors. And at this price I don't want to buy this set, then pay extra for sand from another location in the correct colors.

This Unity Sand set is awesome! I ordered it for my daughter and her fiance, after I recieved it I had them come over and open it, it was just like the picture, I had it personalized and that made it even more unique. I was very pleased with this set. We ordered it in the colors shown. They loved it! It will be a great way for them to incorporate the Lord as the foundation for their marriage and life. What a blessing this site is and this product.

I waited for this to go on sale because for me, it was a lot of money. It turned out great. The engraving was done very well, and the sand was very pretty. The only thing that I noticed was the 2 hearts were painted on in white. In the picture it looks like a silver design that was applied to the glass. It still looks beautiful and I am very happy with it.

My Fiance and I are from the Great Lake region (he from lake michigan shores and I from lake superior shores) We loved the idea of using sand from our favorite home town beach spots as our unity sands. It also is symbolic of like "sands of time" kind of theme that we are using in our wedding.

This is beautiful. The engraving included our names and ceremony date. It is so unique and perfect for our beach wedding since a unity candle with the breeze would not have been practical. Very well made.

After reading the other review, I expected to get a ribbon as well that was personalized. So I was WONDERFULLY surprised when the vase itself came personalized with our names and date etched in the vase. I ordered the exact colors shown in the pic and they really do look like that. It comes with plenty of sand too! My only complaint is that the 3 accompanying vases are too small to fit the amount of sand we'll need for the mom's to put in first, then the sand my husband and I will mix together on top (along with the sand the preacher will put in that will already be at the base for the mom's to pour on top of. So we might have to find two vases for them to do that too. but otherwise it was perfect and soooo beautiful! I wanted to make it up myself, but this was worth it since I was last minute. It was a bit too expensive for my tastes, but I would definitely recommend it and if marriages happened more than once, I'd get it again!

We decided to have a sand ceremony instead of a unity candle because this is my second wedding and his third. My first one was basically a courthouse wedding, so I'm having a lot of fun with this one. I purchased these containers, with the double heart design and the sand for them and everything arrived last night. I love the containers, but my complaint is that the website says "personalize for free" and I chose to do so. I should have looked a little more closely. I didn't realize that the personalization was just a white ribbon and a silver tag with our names engraved on it. We have to thread the ribbon through the tag and tie it to the container. None of that is too bad, I still love it and know it will look beautiful, but I wish the large container had been engraved with our names, instead of having a tag. Also, we ordered the sand with them, and recieved nice big bottles of beautiful colored sand. the light blue sand looks almost ice blue on the website, but it's a little brighter than that in person. Still beautiful, though!
