I was nervouse about this purchase because of the mixed reviews but I am so glad I went with it! I got this for my finace as my special gift to him and it is perfect! The inscription is just lovely and very visible. I picked a thicker font since some of the reviews had engravings that came out bad. It has a really nice feel to it and appears to be really well made. I know he is going ot love it!

We purchased these watches as gifts for the ushers in our wedding. Overall we were pleasantly surprised with them. We did not opt to personalize and I think they are just fine plain. I'm happy with the overall quality of the watch and the gunmetal color is great. The only con is that a pocketwatch is not very common so may not be practical, however, I think it is a good gift and apropos for a dapper man in a suit for our wedding day!

I bought this as a gift for my future husband and upon receiving it, I noticed you can barely see the engraving. You have to turn it sideways in the light to see it, and it was made in the wrong font. It's ok and works well for the price you pay for it. I'll end up getting him a better present now though....

the inside of the watch actually looks exactly like the picture does, no surprises. but we got ours monogrammed and you literally can't even read it. it's almost invisible unless you tilt it towards the light. even then it's barely legible. to be completely honest, we're a little embarrassed to give this as a gift to my grandpa. :( i'd return it if we could.

The watches look so nice! I was SOOO impressed! I bought three watches for my grandfather, my future step father and the minister. The engraving was perfect and I can not WAIT to see the looks on those three faces at rehearsal dinner!

I ordered these watches for the groomsmen, and I originally picked Roman Hollow as the font. When they arrived I didn't even notice the personalization, it was barely visible.

So, I called customer service and they said they would alter the font to Demi Bold (which they recommended as the easiest to see on the watches). When the 2nd round of watches arrived the customer service lady did not change the font... So I have 6 watches with unacceptable personalization.

I called customer service again, and the 3rd shipment of watches just came and they were PERFECT with the new font.

Just so you know, Roman Hollow is NOT a good font choice! Other than that, I was impressed with cutsomer service providing new watches free of charge. I will do more wedding related shopping with theknot.com!

I read the reviews on this and thought it sounded pretty legitimate so we went with it. They are very nice and sleek. They have a nice weight to them so they don't seem like cheap metal. The engraving looks great and overall we are very pleased, especially for the price. I can honestly say we are very satisfied and better yet I think the guys will like them as well :)

I will be giving this to my groom on our wedding day. Our budget didn't allow me to purchase the Movado or Rolex, so I took a chance and ordered this pocket watch.

I fully expected to be disappointed, but WAY wasn't. The gunmetal finish will look fantastic with his charcoal suit and the contemporary-style monogramming really fits him.

This is a beautiful watch! My daughter looked at it when it arrived and couldn't believe I paid so little!

Thank you Knot for giving brides on a budget some feasible keepsake options!

we got these for our groomsmen and they are great. we didnt get them personalized though. i thought they were a steal when they were on sale. overall good quality.

I was extremely happy upon recieving this product. Its appears to be very well made. I was expecting it to look a little cheap, especially for the price, but I was stunned at the quality when I took it out of the box. I did not personalize it though, I read some reviews on some other watches, and they all suggested taking it somewhere else to be engraved, so that's what I'm doing.
