I was so excited to find this card holder, as all of the others that I had come across were not at all what I was looking for. This is beautiful! It would be nice if the bottom were solid, as the cards can easily fall through, but putting a peice of cardboard painted silver in the bottom should work!

Perfect for a winter wedding

I ordered this for my NYE wedding. I love it. The only thing is the bottom slots are wide. So I took the card board from the box and cut it and wrapped it in shiny white paper so the cards dont fall out

It looks really nice, it looks just like the picture, yes, it is not shiny and glittery on all parts, but the picture shows this as well, it does leave a bit of a mess with glitter falling off, there is a slot for cards and the cover is a bit difficult to take off (but as one person said it only needs to be taken off to empty it and store it). It was a great buy and will look great for my wedding!!

Do Not Bother

I chose this Reception Card Gift Holder because it looked well made, thought it would make a nice presentation on the gift table, and I liked the fact that it was silver. When I received the item I was extremely disappointed. What was said in prior reviews about the glitter coming off was true but did not seem quite as much as what other reviewers stated. My disappointment was with the color. It is not the brightly colored silver you see in the photo. It is more like a gun-metal grey which is probably the best way to describe it. It looked like a dark silver crate with some glitter. Unfortunately I had to return it and am now looking for another gift card holder.

It's actually bigger than I imagined. There's a slot on the side which makes it easy to leave an envelope, but the lid should have some kind of security. It should have hinges and a little heart shaped lock would look sweet!

Beautiful box!

This box is absolutely beautiful! My fiance and I are using it for our wedding in June. The top is difficult to remove, but there is a slot on the side to put the cards in. The only time the top needs to be removed is to empty the box. I would definitely recommend this product!

It's okay...

This card holder is really pretty but the lid isn't how I expected. You have to remove the entire lid to put a card in. The lid doesn't quite fit right - there are a few metal pieces that you could probably use to hook it in place if you really tried, but this would make it difficult for guests to use. It would be better if it had a slot for the cards or if the lid was attached by hinges. Luckily, I'm not too picky so I will still be using it!
