We just received our matchboxes in the mail today! We ordered two different color boxes- one was ivory (matte) and the other was silver which was a little shinier. The ivory looks really nice and better quality than the silver! I think it's because the silver has a sheen to it, but there are noticeable scuffs over every single one of them! If you order these- do not order any of the metallic colors for the box!!

My matchboxes arrived 4 days after I ordered them!I was surprised at how fast they came. They look exactly like what they look like online and the orange foil on the white looks sharp. I chose the same icon for the matchbooks as the napkins I ordered and think they will be great for the bar. I have not tested out the matches themselves, but the strike paper on the side looks a little thin...however, I think these are great for what they are!

Received the matches this week and they are pretty bad quality. There are few out of a hundred that a not scratched and the image is not messed up. I understand that they are gold and that is easily scratched but common!!!!! Wedding is in 7 days, and now I have to look for another favor.

I just received my order of personalized match boxes in the mail, and I am very unhappy with them. I knew they wouldn't be fantastic for the price that I was paying, but I didn't expect them to be of such poor quality either. The writing and images on the cover of the match books are crooked, and the colors are incredibly muddled. They look extremely tacky, and I don't know if I can bring myself to put these out at our wedding reception. I'm not usually this picky when it comes to things like this, but these match books are truly terrible, and I feel like I just wasted a lot of money that could have gone towards something else.

I bought 100 matchbooks as a little extra to have at the reception and to keep a few for us as a memento. We got the navy box with the toasting flutes design and our names and date in the silver foil. Our wedding colors are grey, yellow, and navy so they coordinate with that, and I happened to have the same toasting flutes design on my save the dates so it went perfectly. The matchboxes are good quality, I was prompted to get them when they went on big sale price and I'm so glad I did!

I couldn't decide between 2 different styles so I ordered them both (perfect match and lovebirds) in reversed colors (one with cream background and metallic green copy and one with green background and silver copy), and I couldn't be more pleased with them. The only way to make these perfect would be to accommodate a custom design (engagement picture or specific font style/PMS colors).

This was such a waste of money. The color pantone on line did not match those that I received in the mail. I complained, and after a week I received a response. I sent photos, etc, and I was told that the colors were the same, when they evidently were not. If you are going to choose peony and coral it will come back bright pink and red, so save yourself the money.

I wanted to post a picture of the matchboxes so anyone considering the color SAGE would be able to see a relatively accurate representation before buying. Hopefully, this will help save you hours of looking through comments for pictures like I did. The only draw back that I have with the color is that I expected it to be a bit darker with bluer undertones, as was depicted online. Still, I must say it is pretty close. And, since it is in the same color family as my sage color, I will definitely be able to use them as my favors (to be paired with sparklers for our sparkler send-off) with no problem.

Other than that, the matchboxes are perfect! I love the way that they turned out. The silver lettering (my other color) looks amazing against the sage. I ordered 200 and am very happy with their look and quality.

Also, the luncheon napkin pictured is SAGE with classic silver lettering. (Yes, my fiancé's name is wrong on the napkin, but that is an issue that will be discussed on the napkin review.) The sage napkin color is a good bit lighter than the matchbook color. It almost looks like ivory with a drop of green. The napkins aren't bad, but they're not exactly what I was expecting either. Still, the lettering is beautiful, I got them for a great price, and they are thick (though a bit rough).

I was so excited when our personalized match boxes came. They were so cute and the colors were perfect. I have seen some other personalized matchbooks at other weddings and I think these are a high quality. They light easily too. I would definitely recommend them!

We plan on bundling these matches with votive candles as favors, and they look SO good. The price was very reasonable (especially if you wait to order on a day when they are having one of their many, many discounts!), and the finished product is great: the color matches exactly what appeared on my computer screen (always a worry), and the lettering is easy to read. I'm extremely happy with them, and know my guests will find them useful too (doesn't everyone like to have extra matches around the house?). It will help them remember our special day.

We are planning to bust out a box of cigars at the end of our wedding and these are perfect! We ordered two different designs, a white matchbox with royal blue foil, peacock feather, and classic lettering, and a robins egg blue matchbox with white lettering, bird on branch and modern lettering. For what we paid for them ON SALE, it was an excellent purchase. There were minor problems with the royal blue foil lettering, on some of them the "a"s were filled in and on some of them a spot on the bottom hooks on the "J"s were missing. If you run your fingernail over the erroneous spots, they just lifted off. No one will notice such tiny problems. The robins egg blue matchbox had no printing errors but the color is a VERY SATURATED blue/green, more like a carribean blue. Still beautiful but if you are trying to exactly match your color theme, it might make you crazy. The matches themselves seem to be good quality and there appear to be 20-25 of them in each box.

These are really great! The coloring is perfect and I think they are unique compared to the plain matchbook. The only thing I wish was that the box was a little sturdier.

I will admit I was a little hesitant when I started ordering the matches and there was no image of what my specific matches would look like, but it ended up coming out perfectly. I chose the white match box with gold foil writing and there is plenty of contrast to see the wording. I also chose the peacock feather and it is very cute. I read some reviews that the printing did not come out well, but as I was stuffing favors (votive holders with matchbooks) I did not come across a single misprint. My father did notice that the last 0 of 2010 was slightly higher than the other letters - a millimeter maybe - but nothing at all to freak out about. For the price, I thought this was a great deal. And searching around the web, the knot had the best font and image choices as well.

Overall, these are great matchboxes. The quality is wonderful, the price was great (on sale), my only "complaint", if you can call it that, is that there seem to be a different number of matches in each box ranging from about 11-17 matches in each. I have to say, though, if that's the worse thing, we're in great shape :-)

I ordered these match boxes for our cigar bar to match the napkins that will be at our bar for our wedding. The green even thought they say are the same name are not exactly the same color and I was disappointed that they were glossy finish and shiny. But over all for the money i paid I am happy with them. Plus they arent going to be right next to the napkins so noone will see the color difference.

Our matchbooks just arrived today and I couldn't be more pleased! They are so cute - just perfect for our wedding. We are going to have sparklers for our 'grand exit' at the end of our reception and these matches are going to be a perfect compliment!
They are much nicer & higher-quality than what I expected, actually. For the price, I don't think you can get any better. We ordered 3 boxes of 100 matchbooks, each slightly different, and they're all adorable. I highly recommend!!

I just received these matchboxes I ordered for my daughter's fall 2010 wedding. They look exactly as described and seem to be of good quality. I ordered the pink box with gold foil lettering and was glad to get them on sale. They will be nice keepsakes for guests and are functional too.

I ordered these to go with my "cigar bar " . This is a great value for 100 boxes which is plenty for my wedding. The only thing I wish that they were printed on both sides but, for the price and color combination choices this is perfect!!!

I liked that you could personalize the matchbox with your desired color, and the font in the desired color and type. They look very cute. I was disappointed with the quality of the font print on the matchboxes. Some looked great, some had the font overdone and letters were not clearly defined, and others had missing "ink" so the letters were not complete. I've found that with the overdone ones, I can use my nail to scratch off the extra "ink" to make the font look better. Overall, they are okay for what I paid and their purpose. I plan to pair them with some candles we will give out as favors. No way would I buy these matchboxes at full price. And the sale price I paid was a great deal as compared to other places I found online.
