We are having a summer outdoor wedding. My guests will love these! I know I've been to weddings and used the program as a fan. I got them on super sale with a free shipping code and I'm very happy with them. They ARE paper, which is clearly stated so they are a little crinkly trying to open and close them. Just open and close gently and you're good to go! I also purchased personalized labels to go with them to give them a "keepsake" touch.

While these fans were a good price, if you are picky about colour, I would be careful.

I bought the ivory ones, but they were yellowy and customer service exchanged them for me for the white ones. I received the white ones and they are purple!

The price was the best I found, and once they are open, the fans are good but just watch the price.

I was so excited when I got these fans, I order them in grey and it's a nice neutral color. I opened one up and it fanned out and looked really nice. And then I went to close it. The paper doesn't refold pratically and you basically have to refold the paper by hand and then force it closed. I was really disappointed in this. I am using them for an outdoor wedding so I know my guests will appreciate them but I don't like how flimsy they are. I really wish they closed properly!

Overally, I was pretty disappointed. I am still not 100% certain I will give them to guests. We might choose a different option.

I ordered 100 of these fans in the grass green to go with our lime green wedding color scheme. The color matched the sample picture, and is exactly what we needed for our hot, outdoor ceremony in July. A few of them were a little beat up or bent from shipping, but since we got them on sale for [$] I am fine with it. Plus, they're a thick paper with a wood frame so they are a little fragile (I wouldn't call them flimsy), but they will certainly hold up through the wedding with kids playing with them and keep people cool. So far everyone I have shown them to thinks they are adorable and necessary for the summer heat.

I just got these in grape for my August 2012 outdoor wedding. It will be hot so I thought fans were a must. These came true to the color online. However, they look pretty cheap and the first one I opened broke. I got them on sale and with an extra coupon code. If you buy them definitely wait for a sale. I am not super pleased with them but they might be okay and I'm not sure it is worth the hassle to return them and look for something else.

It was a good price, but the fans don't open and close very easily and are almost too flimsy to give to guests. But you can't really complain about the price!

Just got these in today and I am pleased with them. The only complaint that I have is that they stick a little when trying to open and after you open them they are difficult to close again the first time. I'm going through and opening and closing them all for my guests.I would NOT buy these full price... ever. Wait for them to go on sale. They will serve their purpose though for my outdoor Texas wedding and I'm sure our guests will appreciate them :0)

I ordered these for my outdoor June 2012 ceremony. It will be warm so I thought we needed the functionality of a hand fan. I ordered grass and ivory. When I received the fans, I was not as happy as I would have hoped. They are very flimsy. Once opened, it is difficult to close them because the wood holding the paper is very flimsy and doesn't stay strong enough to hold the paper in line to close. The grass is true to color and nice. The ivory is very yellow/cream. I debated upon sending them back, but decided they would serve the purpose for a disposable necessity during the 1/2 hour outdoor ceremony.

For a hot summer wedding, these were a must. We made handmade tags to hang from them to add a personal touch. They were a big hit at the reception. Try to find them on sale!

I bought these for my outdoor wedding in June 2012...I plan on placing one on each chair at the ceremony site instead of printing up programs. I bought half in grass and half in yellow. The colors were true to the picture displayed on the description. They appear to be well made and to serve the purpose of keeping my guests cool in my summertime wedding.
