Be aware that if you get this item personalized with your names and date, it is laser etched into the knife blade NOT in place of "Mr. and Mrs." on the handle. Also, the "engraving" personalization is BARELY visible. I actually called customer service because I thought they hadn't been engraved at all. That's how faint it is. NOT WORTH IT. And the "Mr. and Mrs." on the handle is too kitchy and cliche. Wouldn't have bought them if I had known the personalization would be awful and wouldn't take the place of the "Mr. and Mrs."

While the product itself is beautiful I was very disappointed to find out that only the knife itself gets engraved. I went back on the website to see where is says that & it doesn't nor does it show that in the photo. But that falls on the knot not the item itself. I think I may bring it in to a local engraving store to have the server engraved as well.
