Comments about The Knot Interchangeable Cake Topper:
I'm black and my husband is Latino, so we really wanted a cake topper that reflected us. It was hard finding interracial toppers. One day during my search I stumbled on a link from a member on a wedding website's discussion board directed us to these interchangeable sets. Hooray! They're very modern looking, and great quality. We got many compliments on them. So glad to have found them and highly recommend them! (Note: The retailer we bought them from [not The Knot, unfortunately] didn't list the base along with the figurines, so we missed it and weren't about to pay another [...], so the flowers you see in the picture are ones we substituted on our own.)

Not A Cake Topper

I was happy to order this as a cake topper for my wedding. I was very disappointed when they arrived. They are beautifully made but the base and bride are very heavy with the groom it weighs about 3 pounds. The packaging said it was a cakeside decoration. My bakery told me it was too heavy and would collapse the top layer of the wedding cake if we try to use it. I wish the knot had advertised it as a cakeside decoration and not a topper.

My fiance wanted the the traditional bride and groom caketopper, and I was a little apprehensive that this product would look cheap and dated. I ordered the caucasian bride and groom and am so pleased! They are elegant and classy, and will look great on four tier traditional wedding cake! They also look very expensive even though I got them on sale!
