Not what I expected since I didn't know vellum was translucent paper, but they are a lovely addition to my centerpieces and work well with long tables. Love the Damask print!

I say that they are flimsy only because I didn't know what vellum was. If you have never seen vellum then you will think they seem flimsy as well, but actually they are everything they described them to be. I am putting them on our tables for our reception. Our colors are black, white and pink. Instead of putting a real candle in a wine glass and taking a chances on an accident I am putting pink floralytes in them. I am putting 2 on every table alongside a medium vase full of pink cabbage roses and white orchids. These lamp shades added just the right amount of elegance to the centerpieces. I am VErY happy with my purchase! I would definitely recommend these to anyone with a small budget with big taste! They are simply amazing!
